Becoming a Member

Congratulations and welcome to a community of like minded, spiritual thinking people from all over the world. 

A word about subscribing

Financial (Donor) Membership is a small $25 per annum to help us along (which can even be settled by small amounts regularly... we tally up every month so those with limited income can subscribe a few dollars at a time - we adjust your 'member to' dates monthly).

To become a financial (donating) member

Using Visa or Mastercard?

We accept Mastercard and Visa (which can be done manually or via our eftpos unit). Please just phone, email or otherwise make contact to get this organised. Easy 1-2-3!

Physical or internet banking

Account 03 0531 0722694 00 (Select Technologies, Westpac Bank, Lower Hutt, New Zealand). Use your member name as reference if possible - otherwise please let us know.  An Australian account is planned shortly. As soon as PayPal or an equivalent is back and running, we'll let you know.

Live in the Wellington (NZ) area?

If you live in the Wellington Area (sorry out of area'nites)... We also have home-office eftpos which we can bring with us to sample your coffee... or you can call round to sample ours (email us plz). You are welcome to visit the administrators technical workshop to say hello and get this organised between 10 AM and 3 PM weekdays...

What is Membership?

This is a progressive site... aka whilst the site has been around since 1998, the SpiritBoard has been in existence as you see it since January, 2006. You are welcome to be a freely registered user forever and enjoy all the benefits of doing so. As you can see, some things only require you to register. You can interact on the greetings area and read much of the sites content. To participate (e.g. readings, spiritual and wellbeing activities) requires membership to help us along (it is a heck of a lot cheaper than paying for a medium... you could get answers from many of us here!!!).

A Member is one who donates a small payment (which at the moment is $25 per annum for individuals or families) towards the boards running and development expenses. From that income and spooknz's ongoing donations we maintain the sites costs (cable/line fees, maintenance, repairs, domain renewals, software licencing etc), work towards our many projects and look towards new features and, if required, programming or application costs. 

Casual donations always welcome.

I would like to kindly note that spooknz has, does, and will continue to cover costs... either through employment or self-employment as a free-will activity. But your donation (membership) is a way of saying, hey! Great site, love the people, enjoyed the readings, love the activities, can't wait to see more, keep on keeping on. In reality, the equipment, cable expenses, domains, programme licencing et al costs big molla.

It is intended that as time and development provides, there will be online features for those who have contributed. We are working on means of providing online Spiritualist Services, Members activities, circles and meetings, real-time spiritual healing (audio/video and special meditative 'rooms'), research projects (such as Australasian remote sensing expeditions over the internet), blogs (members own online space), trade/exhange and lending libraries, etc etc etc. It does take time, expense and patience to develop these aspects but by the time we are finished, this will be one heck of a unique place in the world.
