1 There is a group of people, that
believe some gods of ancient times were in fact visitors from outer
space. Their theory is that the earth was visited by extraterrestrials
some 10,000 -40,000 years ago. It is said that the chariots of the gods
which were mentioned in the bible were in fact
spacecraft, also there is countless legends seen in many cultures around
the world that tell of winged gods and flying machines, Inspired not by
their imagination, but by actual visits down through the ages by Aliens
with their advanced technology.
There
are ancient archeological oddities found around the world. For example
the great pyramids. Their height when multiplied by 1,000 million is the
distance from the earth to the sun. And they say that they could not
have been built without access to advanced technology, beyond the
knowledge of their times. 2 As to the pyramids, it can be
shown how they were believed to be built. They have even found the
villages that workmen lived in etc., and the cemeteries they were buried
in. There are writings found also. 1 The pyramids are a
fascinating subject. The shape in which they are constructed has
mysterious powers to preserve and heal. Its no wonder that some still
believe that there was a Alien influence in their design and
construction. It is believed by many that our planet has been visited by
extraterrestrials since ancient times.
3 [One poster claims to have...] spent time self examining with-in a scale model of the Cheops Pyramid. Incredible experiences had which maybe one would never had ventured into if he or she weren't with-in the Pyramid Structure. If you gain the chance, look deep into their System. fascinating world! 1 There are many internet links on the subject of extraterrestrials visiting Earth in ancient times (a). 4 Some may struggle with the idea of ET's. Many know that we can't be the only life form, but would rather not think further about it than that.
6 The fact that modern day scientist DO NOT know what cement was used to glue the outer mantel ( limestone quartz 100 mm thick ) blocks is made of! the outer mantel when it used to cover the pyramids were so polished with age that when the sun shone on the outer casing it could be seen from outer space.
The limestone outer casing was ripped away over time by people. Does that mean the cement used is not from planet Earth? There are 144,000 outer blocks on the pyramids. which is the exact number of persons that will [allegedly] be saved when the gods finally arrive ( 12 tribes of Israel? revelations). There has never been any bodies. coffins or corpses found inside the three original pyramids, only in the outside area where recently Egyptian historians have found bakeries and living areas where possibly recent Egyptian Pharoahs have built around the great pyramids ( 2500 - 3000 years ago ).
They are now saying the pyramids have been there for over 12,000 -13000 years. There have also been salt residue found half way up the great pyramid which is 500 meters high. The Nile river is 150 meters below the base of the pyramids in todays terms. Which implies the pyramids were covered and surrounded with sea water at some stage like three islands. Hence boats that have been found near by.
It must have been an amazing site to see the sunrise from the east? ( or north east ?) and then flood the sea then hit the sides of the pyramids climb its way up the to the CAPSTONE which has never been found ( tears of the sun ) it may well be also possible the pyramids are sitting in large pools that lay under the desert sands.
Pyramids are such a fascinating subject. Not only are the pyramids a calendar of past , present & future events, they replicate the seasons, summer & winter soltices. They point to stars that are relevent to our planet. The passage-ways are a calendar (when measured are the same as important biblical dates). The pyramids magnify light when the outer mantel is present. The interior dries carcasses instead of letting carcasses rot. Medicinal; empowering. North east is the direction all animals go when inside a pyramid facing true north! seems to be inline with the earths magnetic empowering currents.
7 IT is worth reading Paul Brunton (renowned student of the Mystery Schools) and his account of spending a night alone in the Great Pyramid which you will find really incredible. You may well have heard of this man. His books are exceptional.
Some people have experienced remarkable results with meditation and healing through sitting in a pyramid shaped structure. what brings about the mysterious powers of this shape? [The question remains unanswered.]
1 We are all entitled to our own opinions, but [saying there are no aliens] is much the same as some one saying that they don't believe in ghosts because they have never seen one. We can wonder how a lot of people would react if extraterrestrials suddenly appeared In this day and age. You might wonder if they would receive a warm welcome and be treated like gods, I don't think so. Maybe they know this.
4 Perhaps ET activity is much like spiritual activity. Unless you are looking for it, or know what you are looking for - you won't see anything. It no doubt will take some time for many to get their head around ET's. But no - just like spiritualism is not welcomed with open arms by the masses - perhaps aliens would not be welcomed either. Sad, but [possibly] true.
Have read with interest about Nommos amphibian aliens who landed in the Persian gulf in ancient times. They are still worshiped today by a race called Dogans (a) .
The Dogon people are an indigenous
tribe who occupy a region in Mali, south of the Sahara Desert in Africa. There are about 100,000 members in the tribe.
They are a reclusive tribe of cave and hillside-dwelling farming people inhabiting a sparse, rocky plateau in southeastern Mali, West Africa. They live in the Homburi Mountains near Timbuktu. Isolated topographically and culturally from the outside world for countless centuries, they may well appear on first sight to be exceedingly unlikely receptacles of highly advanced astronomical knowledge Ð which only goes to show just how easily we can be deceived by outward appearances.
They are believed to be of Egyptian descent. After living in Libya for a time, they settled in Mali, West Africa, bringing with them astronomy legends dating from before 3200 BCE.
The first Western scientists to visit and study the Dogon people were French anthropologists Drs Marcel Griaule and Germaine
Dieter Len, who initially made contact with them in 1931, and continued to research them for the next three decades, culminating in a detailed study conducted between 1946-1950. During their work, these anthropologists documented the traditional mythology and sacred beliefs of the Dogon, which included an extraordinary body of ancient lore regarding Sirius Ð the brilliant, far-distant Dog Star.
Their priests told them of a secret Dogon myth about the star Sirius (8.6 light years from the Earth. The priests said that Sirius had a companion star that was invisible to the human eye. They also stated that the star moved in a 50-year elliptical orbit around Sirius, that it was small and incredibly heavy, and that it rotated on its axis.
Sirius - which we now call Sirius A - was not seen through a telescope until 1862 and was not photographed until 1970.
The Dogon name for Sirius B (Po Tolo) consists of the word for star (tolo) and "po," the name of the smallest seed known to them. By this name they describe the star's smallness -- it is, they say, "the smallest thing there is."
They also claim that it is "the heaviest star," and white.
The tribe claims that Po is composed of a mysterious, super-dense metal called sagala Ð which, they declare, is heavier than all the iron on Earth. Not until 1926 did Western science discover that this tiny star is a white dwarf Ð a category of star characterised by very great density. In the case of Sirius B, astronomers have estimated that a single cubic metre of its matter weighs about 20,000 tonnes.
Many artifacts were found describing the star system, including a statue examined by
Dieter Len that is at least 400 years old.
They go on to say that it has an is elliptical orbit, with Sirius A at one foci of the ellipse (as it is), that the orbital period is 50 years (the actual figure is 50.04 +/- 0.09 years), and that the star rotates on its own axis (it does). The Dogon also describe a third star in the Sirius system, called "Emme Ya" ("Sorghum Female"). In orbit around this star, they say, is a single satellite. To date, Emme Ya has not been identified by astronomers.
In addition to their knowledge of Sirius B, the Dogon mythology includes Saturn's rings, and Jupiter's four major moons. They have four calendars, for the Sun, Moon, Sirius, and Venus, and have long known that planets orbit the sun.
The Dogon say their astronomical knowledge was given to them by the Nommos, amphibious beings sent to Earth from Sirius for the benefit of mankind. The name comes from a Dogon word meaning "to make one drink," and the Nommos are also called Masters of the Water, the Monitors, and the Teachers.
The Dogon tells the legend of the Nommos, awful-looking beings who arrived in a vessel along with fire and thunder.
After they arrived here - they put out a reservoir of water onto the Earth then dove into the water.
There are references in the oral traditions, drawings and cuneiform tablets of the Dogons, to human looking beings who have feet but who are portrayed as having a large fish skin running down their bodies.
The Nommos were more fishlike than human, and had to live in water. They were saviors and spiritual guardians: "The Nommo divided his body among men to feed them; that is why it is also said that as the universe "had drunk of his body," the Nommo also made men drink. He gave all his life principles to human beings."
The Nommo was crucified and resurrected and in the future will again visit the Earth, this time in human form. Later he will assume his amphibious form and will rule the world from the waters.
Dogon mythology is known only by a number of their priests, and is a complex system of knowledge. Such carefully guarded secrets would not be divulged to friendly strangers very easily. If the star Emme Ya is eventually discovered in the Sirius system, this would give considerably weight to the Dogon's story.
The Nommos, who could live on land but dwelled mostly in the sea, were part fish, like merfolk (mermaids and mermen). Similar creatures have been noted in other ancient civilizations -- Babylonia's Oannes, Acadia's Ea, Sumer's Enki, and Egypt's goddess Isis. It was from the Nommos that the Dogon claimed their knowledge of the heavens.
The Dogon also claimed that a third star (Emme Ya) existed in the Sirius system. Larger and lighter than Sirius B, this star revolved around Sirius as well. And around it orbited a planet from which the Nommos came. (Sirius A).
Chronologically, the earliest of these amphibious entities would appear to be the Babylonian fish-people. They were known to the Babylonians as the Annedoti, which translates as 'repulsive', but notwithstanding their unappealing appearance they were sufficiently influential for the Babylonians to accept their teachings and acquire from them the fundamental tenets of civilisation. The most august member of the Annedoti was Oannes, portrayed in ancient Babylonian depictions as a curious, complex hybrid of human and fish, with a bearded man's head beneath the head of a fish, and the body of a fish borne upon the back of a man's body.
According to Babylonian legends, this aquatic deity would come on land during the day to teach the people, and would dive back at night into the Persian Gulf, where he lived in an underwater palace called the Apsu. Was Oannes the original
Nommo?
Equivalent to Oannes in the religion of the Philistines at Philistia (in what is now Israel) was a human-bodied, fish-tailed deity called Dagon. Further to the west, Pharos in northern Egypt was said to be the home of 'the Old Man of the Sea' Ð a shape-shifting amphibious deity known as Proteus, son of Oceanus and renowned among the ancient Greeks as an oracle. Significantly, their traditional legends specifically claimed that he often sheltered in a cave to avoid the heat of Sirius.
According to Robert Temple's Book The Sirius Mystery, the Dogon, a tribe of about 100,000 in western Africa, have had contact with extraterrestrials. One of Temple's main pieces of evidence is the tribe's alleged knowledge of Sirius B, a companion to the star Sirius. The Dogon are supposed to know that Sirius B orbits Sirius and that a complete orbit takes fifty years. One of the pieces of evidence Temple cites is a sand picture made by the Dogon to explain their beliefs. There are a number of other astronomical beliefs held by the Dogon which are curious; e.g., traditional belief in a heliocentric system and elliptical orbits of astronomical phenomena; knowledge of satellites of Jupiter and rings of Saturn, among other things. Where did they get this knowledge, if not from extraterrestrial visitors? They don't have telescopes or other scientific equipment, so how could they get this knowledge?
Carl Sagan concludes that the Dogon could not have acquired their knowledge without contact with an advanced technological civilisation. He suggests, however, that that civilisation was terrestrial rather than extraterrestrial. Western Africa has had many visitors from technological societies located on planet Earth. The Dogon have a traditional interest in the sky and astronomical phenomena. As Sagan notes, if a European had visited the Dogon in the 1920s and 1930s, conversation would likely have turned to astronomical matters, including Sirius, the brightest star in the sky and the centre of Dogon mythology.
Furthermore, there had been a good amount of discussion of Sirius in the scientific press in the '20s so that by the time Griaule arrived, the Dogon may have had a grounding in 20th Century technological matters beyond their understanding brought to them by visitors from other parts of Earth and transmitted in conversation. (Sagan notes that some of the discussion of the day involved the nature of white dwarfs, for example. Sirius B is a white dwarf, an extremely dense star, e.g., about a tonne to the cubic inch.)
The Dogon occupy a region in Mali, south of the Sahara Desert in Africa. They live in the Homburi Mountains near Timbuktu. At the center of their religious teachings is the knowledge of a Sirius B, a white dwarf, although small and faint is extremely dense and heavy enough to exert an
influence on Sirius A. The Dogon name for Sirius B is Po Tolo.
Tolo means Star. Po means smallest seed.
They go on to say that it has an is elliptical orbit, with Sirius A at one foci of the ellipse (as it is), that the orbital period is 50 years (the actual figure is 50.04 +/- 0.09 years), and that the star rotates on its own axis (it does).
They have described perfectly the DNA type elliptical orbit that the 2 make around each other. That has been confirmed by modern day scientists.
They have four calendars, for the Sun Moon, Sirius, and Venus, and have long known that planets orbit the sun.
The strange part is that Western astronomers didn't find the star until the middle of the nineteenth century, and most are certain that no previous explorers to the region could have informed them of it. It wasn't even photographed until 1970. This star has formed the basis of the most sacred DOGON beliefs since antiquity.
The DOGON call the creatures the NOMMOS, who have to live in water.
They claim that a long time ago a space ship with 3 triangular legs landed.
The beings were human looking.
They put out a reservoir of water onto the earth.
They dove out into the water.
They were aquatic....more to the point amphibious.
They could walk and talk and live on the earth but they could also live in an aquatic environment.
They believe the Nommo will return to the earth one day.
This tribe has some amazing facts they say they gathered from these visiting extraterrestrials. The know, that Sirius A, the brightest sky in our sky is next to a small white dwarf called Sirius B. Sirius B was not discovered by our scientists until 1978. The Dogon tribe knew about it 1,000 years ago or longer.
There are many serious references throughout all of the drawings of the cuneiforms
of the ancient civilizations to human looking beings who have feet but who are portrayed as having a large fish skin running down their bodies.
The DOGONs may presently be the last people on Earth to worship extra-terrestrial amphibians who landed in the Persian Gulf at the dawn of civilization, and whose presence can be detected in drawings and legends of the gods of ancient Babylonia, Egypt and Greece.
Much has been written about the Dogon tribe and their knowledge of the stars. Such a simple people, kept out of the industrial age even today. How did they come by this information?
It has been surmised that they were visited by aliens from Sirius, from the constellation of the Dog, due to their descriptions of their visitors, but this is fancy. Their visitors hailed not from Sirius, but from the 12th Planet, who even then had advanced knowledge of the stars as they plotted their travels by them so as to know their place out in space just as ancient mariners held to the stars to know what place they occupied on the vast oceans. The dog heads worn as masks by these visitors were a common ploy, occasionally switched for the heads of birds or snakes. While under the influence of those in the Service-to-Self orientation, they found these masks aided them in terrifying the diminutive humans they encountered, as their expressions could not be read.
"The Repulsive Ones"-the fish-men who the Babylonians said brought them civilization. The first and most famous was called OANNES or OE, who was thought to have come from a 'great egg'.
"Enki" or "Ea"-in Sumer where kingship first descended from heaven. EA was thought to live in the 'Apsu' or submarine palace.
"Dagon and Atargis"-the Philistines worshiped these two amphibian deities who were represented by the tails of fish and human bodies.
"Proteus"-known as the 'old man in the sea'. He could change his shape and see the future. He used to rest in caves to 'shelter from the heat of the star Sirius'.
1 It is even thought by some, that there could be some truth in the legend of mermaids and mermen and that they could have been descendents of Nommos, alien amphibian beings. There is a Babylonian symbol known as Nommos in the British museum.
5 ET's and Mermaids: Mermaids first.
I know (of) people who are (when I say are I mean past life, and no I don't care if you BELIEVE in past lives, you had them so GET over it) ahem. anyway...
6 Is Israel all wrong? Are they the chosen people? The 12 tribes of Israel may be based on Raelism a mythical legendary race of people that apparently lived on earth 50,000 years ago. The word Israel means "IS RAELISM" or he or they are the blood line of Raelism. The 12 tribes must be the different cultures and creeds that modern day humans are from. Twelve different BASE ethnicity!! there appears to be no way Israel is the country-origin of humanity! 1 Raelism is also a UFO religion or cult that exists today.
