Are humans looking at this in the wrong manner?

How many of the old sci-fi flicks do you remember... lost in space... early star trek... come on... theres plenty to remember.

But... all fun, yes? Crankity stringed up crafts piloted by sometimes daft 'gonna get'cha' horror film like creatures eventually being outwitted by us oh-so-smart humans in sleek star cruisers.

Don't mind me, a seco1nd... or fifty million but that's bullshit!

We know, properly and documented, provably, that space, the planets that could host life, are far more numerous than we believed. Planets orbiting nearby stars are being continuously discovered. Earth-like planets, smallish like ours, circling their own suns, are fact.

Just recently The Hubble Space Telescope pointed to an 'arm' in the milky way and immediately found 16 earth-like planets orbiting suns, and over 200 planets have been documented so far. Common situation, earth like planets. So the chances of life are? Absolute in my book.

as above, so below

Earth biologists have set back the dates of LIFE ON EARTH to 3.9 million years ago. What this means, is that as soon as Earth became a PLANET, it supported life, in the real context of being a 'mother' thereof. It is part of the natural makeup of 'earth' planets to support life. It is the way it is.

What does this infer? Of the say 200 earth like planets discovered, how many have life  Well now, we have only just started looking really. But i'd say, all of them, being earth like, and being in relative distance from their own suns.

What does this say about the apparent 'fluke' of mother Earth being within the 3 percent DISTANCE band from our SUN to support life? It says, its not a fluke, its natural law.

Apparently, we have not picked up radio signals from aliens (SETI project). So what? By the time alternative life finds wings and travels the stars, its going to be on much much different, more clinical and exact communication means than boring radio signals. Pfft.... even! Try infrared, ultraviolet, even direct beam signals (there would be no 'loss' or 'mis-direction' of signal anyway). And, what if, advanced life, develops telecommunication (not your TV, I mean, thought comms). Even better, what if intelligent life created ENGINEERED telecommunication (computerised). Why not... absolutely... where do you think we are heading?

Eventually all suns move on to the next stage in their cycles, and when that does, humankind, if it looks after itself, will be well spread amongst the UNIVERSE. So we look at planets, and we are so feeble in our ways yet so apparently intelligent.

If I was SETI, I'd stop looking at radio waves for a start. The exercise, since 1994? has been interesting and taught us a lot about the unverses radio signals. But... I would be looking at LIGHT, UV, for instance as the source.

We have not failed, we have just done exhaustive testing to prove that alien life, evolved and OUT THERE, does not need nor use RF. Just us humans on our path to forever.

Still, with several hundred billion stars just in the Milky Way Galaxy, we're eventually going to find that ellusive morse code signal... the contact. At that time, many here on Earth are going to have NO EXCUSE but to open their secret files, or be found out.

I would say, there are over 15,000 inhabited planets in the Milky Way alone. Guess how many galaxies there are.

What's your take. I know mine!

To continue. How many of you have heard of the DRAKE EQUATION? This equation, really simple (but looks real pretty) is the formula determining intelligence life in the Universe.

Here it is...

The Drake Equation
N = R * fp ne fl fi fc L

Where,

N = The number of civilizations in The Milky Way Galaxy whose radio emissions are detectable. (currently only 1, ours!)

R* = The rate of formation of stars suitable for the development of intelligent life. (currently indeterminate based on the inconclusion of the growth of the universe roughly guessed by studying Gamma and Xrays and other mysterical words).

f p = The fraction of those stars with planetary systems. (currently unknown because we have not counted all the planets around all the stars. We're up to some 10,000's of 10 to the power of X, where X is an unknown number of zero's).

n e = The number of planets, per solar system, with an environment suitable for life. (when we know the above, well be able to tell).

fl = The fraction of suitable planets on which life actually appears. (At the moment, ONE).

f i = The fraction of life bearing planets on which intelligent life emerges (at the moment, zero lol).

f c = The fraction of civilizations that develop a technology that releases detectable signs of their existence into space.

L = The length of time such civilizations release detectable signals into space.

Well anyway, you get the idea.

Now... we are steadily finding planets that COULD sustain life: Earth like planets around Sun like suns.

So the component f p above is closer to being established.

All that means, in another, oh hundred years? The scientists will prove the spiritualists where right all along.

Let me tie a few things in here.

For those that do not know it, the Mayan Calendar --- actually they had about 22 calendars! And the mathematics of those calendars is phenomenal. These Mayans like many early civilisations actually knew maths the same, or even more so, than we do today! They knew about binary, code, formulae, universal rhythms, earth pulses, everything of the sort. They CHOSE a natural life rather than a technological one.

I mean, skip this if you like, but here is the TAKE on the Mayan 'long count'...

The Mayan Long Count
Just some basics to get us started. The Maya were adept skywatchers. Their Classic Period is thought to have lasted from 200 A.D. to 900 A.D., but recent archeological findings are pushing back the dawn of Mayan civilization in Mesoamerica. Large ruin sites indicating high culture with distinctly Mayan antecedents are being found in the jungles of Guatemala dating back to before the common era. And even before this, the Olmec civilization flourished and developed the sacred count of 260 days known as the tzolkin. The early Maya adopted two different time keeping systems, the "Short Count" and the Long Count. The Short Count derives from combining the tzolkin cycle with the solar year and the Venus cycle of 584 days. In this way, "short" periods of 13, 52 and 104 years are generated. Unfortunately, we won't have occasion to dwell on the properties of the so-called Short Count system here. The Long Count system is somewhat more abstract, yet is also related to certain astronomical cycles. It is based upon nested cycles of days multiplied at each level by that key Mayan number, twenty:

Number of Days / Term
1 / Kin (day)
20 / Uinal
360 / Tun
7200 / Katun
144000 / Baktun

Notice that the only exception to multiplying by twenty is at the tun level, where the uinal period is instead multiplied by 18 to make the 360-day tun. The Maya employed this counting system to track an unbroken sequence of days from the time it was inaugurated. The Mayan scholar Munro Edmonson believes that the Long Count was put in place around 355 B.C. This may be so, but the oldest Long Count date as yet found corresponds to 32 B.C. We find Long Count dates in the archeological record beginning with the baktun place value and separated by dots. For example: 6.19.19.0.0 equals 6 baktuns, 19 katuns, 19 tuns, 0 uinals and 0 days. Each baktun has 144000 days, each katun has 7200 days, and so on. If we add up all the values we find that 6.19.19.0.0 indicates a total of 1007640 days have elapsed since the Zero Date of 0.0.0.0.0. The much discussed 13-baktun cycle is completed 1872000 days (13 baktuns) after 0.0.0.0.0. This period of time is the so called Mayan "Great Cycle" of the Long Count and equals 5125.36 years.

Ok... hello again. If you did not get it, the long count is 5,125.36 years.... moving on.

Getting back to a point... there is something fascinating about 2012... TWO THOUSAND AND TWELVE. The reason I add the Mayans and 2012 and this discussion on Mr. E.T. is because, in my opinion, they are connected.

In the Northern Hemisphere, it coincides with the WINTER SOLSTICE, and likewise, the SUMMER SOLSTICE in the southern hemisphere (um, December 21st).

Anyone who does standard horoscopes the scientific way will note nothing peculiar about this date....

Research 2012... Mayan info, milky way alignment on the actual SOLSTICE... and other things, and we'll carry on.

Somewhere, soon, we will nut this out...

Oh, by the way, because of the EARTH PULSE and VIBRATION at that time, we will be a LOT MORE in SYNCH with the ESOTERIC worlds, AND the vibrationary level of certain advanced ET entities...

Happy hunting.

On the galaxy chart, which as you know, ROTATES rather steadily, At MID-DAY on 21 DECEMBER 2012, the SUN with be exactly DEAD CENTRE of the Galactic Centre and Equator if you stretch the MILKY WAY left to right (within 00.08' degrees).
